Accessibility Features
- In-built ceiling hoist (discreet recessed track) in the main bedroom using a detachable ceiling hoist lifting unit
- Stylish level entry wheelchair accessible ensuite bathroom (accessible shower 1200 x 1760mm, toilet, and accessible vanity)
- Designer grab rails in the ensuite bathroom – shower (inverted T-rail), toilet (L-shape, left-hand side)
- Handheld shower head and large overhead shower rose
- Level entry access to front and rear of property (via deck/garage) – minimum 910mm door width
- Wide circulation spaces in key entry and living areas – minimum 1500mm (main bedroom, kitchen, living, entry)
- Main hallway width – minimum 940mm
- Wide clearance to shower & toilet
- Wide circulation space beside king single adjustable bed – 1850mm+

Accessibility Activities
Situated on the doorstep of the Great Ocean Road, Torquay and the surrounding areas offer many enjoyable activities and experiences. Accessible activities and attractions in the area include:
- Accessible playgrounds, nature reserves and parks in and around Torquay
- The Surf Coast Walk, running 44km from Point Impossible to Fairhaven, has many sections that can be easily accessed by people of all abilities
- All-terrain and beach wheelchairs can be hired for free from the Surf Coast Shire Council so people with a disability can enjoy the beaches, oceans and trails
- The Disabled Surfers Association, based in Ocean Grove, provides an inclusive experience for all people with any disability to experience the rush of riding a wave
- For the children, visit the Museum of Play and Art (MoPA) in Geelong which is accessible with ramps, with disability access to most exhibits. The heritage building is home to an impressive collection of fully immersive exhibits from sensory play to digital experiences.
- Enjoy a visit to the Great Ocean Road Chocolaterie, with wheelchair accessible buildings and grounds. Visitors to this stunning Chocolaterie can immerse themselves in a chocolate experience like no other, enjoying free chocolate and ice cream tastings while watching the art of chocolate making.
- Local taxi services offer wheelchair accessible taxis and V/Line coach services (some services are wheelchair accessible) run daily between Geelong and Apollo Bay through Surf Coast townships along the Great Ocean Road.
- Enjoy a visit to a local winery who identify as being wheelchair accessible, including Mt Duneed Estate and Bellbrae Estate.
